At the Engineering Student Org Fair

Project Purpose

Create a table cloth and pop up banner to bring awareness to our student org during org fairs, networking events and recruitment events. Also create some tee shirts and professional polos for our members to bring awareness on and off campus of our student organization. Create meeting flyers and social media posts

As we were reigniting our college chapter of AISES (American Indian Science and Engineering Society) we wanted to make a bold statement on campus and at various networking events to promote our presence as native scholars in the STEM field. We wanted to appeal to our target audience of native college students on the ASU campus.

My Role

Sole designer of the the table cloth design with focus on STEM pictography as we are representing our college chapter of AISES. Also sole designer of our maroon professional polos and 2 versions of our casual tee shirts. Designed most of our social media memes as well as our initial flyers for meetings to be posted around campus in physical form.

Analysis and Results

Many of our members love to wear the shirt on and off campus and our polo shirts were worn by our officers at networking events or at national conferences and leadership summits to show that our college chapter had professional cohesion and family values as were all matching. Over the years, they have sort of become collectors items as subsequent ASU AISES board members have yet to purchase more shirts or polos for the general members. We also won a social media award for our social media posts at the National AISES conference in 2016 :)
